The screen adaptation of the comic of the same name tells about superheroes who gained superpowers as a result of accidents that disfigured them. Led by mad scientist Niles Calder (aka The Chief), the unusual team includes Robotman, Negative Man, Crazy Jane and Elastic Woman. Broken and crippled, these people find use for their abilities, protecting the Earth from the most incredible threats.
