Eleven-year-old Mia moved with her parents from rainy London to hot Africa for a while because of her father's work. Here they have a farm where they take care of animals. Only Mia does not like animals at all, she has no business with them. But one beast still conquered her. His name is Charlie. He is a white lion. When they met, Charlie was still a very young lion. For three years, the girl and the beast grew up together, becoming true friends. Unfortunately, the father is not interested in this amazing relationship between his daughter and the lion - he sees in Charlie only an animal that is dangerous for his family and that can be sold well.
