Pablo Picasso is one of the most famous artists of all time. But where does his art come from? A lot has been said and written about Picasso, but now it's time to look at the years of his youth, the upbringing and education he received. Three cities played a key role in the history of Picasso: Malaga, Barcelona and Paris. The film explores the influence of each of them on the aspiring artist. In the lens of director Phil Grabsky, the "blue period" and the "pink period" - until 1907, when Picasso creates "Avignon girls". This painting, written by a 25-year-old artist, shocked the art world and changed it forever.
