The creators of the film go on a journey from the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge, which houses the most important collection of works by Degas in Great Britain, to Paris. In the film, you will see both famous and rare works of the artist, as well as learn the story of his search for the ideal in art - to achieve which Degas experimented with new techniques, but at the same time studied with the old masters.
