A Very English Scandal

The action of the series unfolds in the 60s in Great Britain, when homosexuality has just ceased to be a criminal offense. Jeremy Thorpe - the youngest party leader in the country in the last hundred years and head of the Liberal Party - is desperately trying to hide the truth about his sexual orientation. But while Thorpe's ex-lover Norman Scott knows his secret, the politician's brilliant career is in jeopardy. The main character sees only one way to make Scott shut up forever.
