In the recent past, a small religious town was shaken by a series of murders of women. The maniac has been hiding for 10 years, he was never caught, and now the community holds a memorial day for the killer's victims every year. Teenager Tyler lives in a poor, but friendly and happy family, and considers his father an ideal to follow. One day, the boy finds an obscene clipping from a magazine, and then a stack of publications and a photo of one of the victims of a maniac in his father's shed, which he keeps locked all the time. Befriending a local girl obsessed with apprehending a serial killer, Tyler begins to study the details of those long-ago crimes to find out if his father was involved in the murders or not.
