The hero of the film is an athlete who captured the world, and who to this day remains almost unknown in Poland. This is an exciting story of a killer feat, a spectacular fall and extraordinary strength of character, a story based on the real life events of Jerzy Gurski, who ran the "death distance" of the triathlon world championship, setting a new world record in the process. This achievement would not have been possible had it not been for events in his personal life, thanks to which he completely changed his destiny.
