This is an incredible, absurd, but true story. In 1973 in Stockholm, a gunman, Lars Nystrom, decided to rob a bank. He also held visitors and bank employees hostage for six days to get his friend Gunnar out of prison. The police tried to negotiate with Lars for a long time, but everything went down the drain when he was refused to leave with the hostages in the car. While the negotiations last for hours, for days the man constantly rushes between threatening people and trying to do everything possible to make them comfortable. The hostages developed a rather strange attitude towards Lars, a kind of affection. This is how the "Stockholm syndrome" was born.
