German troops appeared in modern Paris at the end of summer. A young man named Georg decides to run away from physical violence. Before that, he needs to deliver letters and some documents to one writer Weidel. But, as it turned out, his addressee committed suicide in the hotel. His documents can help George to go to Marseilles, which he will not neglect in the current situation. He himself becomes Weidel, hiding everywhere the identity of the deceased. In addition, Georg found an open Mexican visa and a mysterious manuscript among the writer's property.
