In the 1960s, the Ferrari team was considered invincible in the legendary Le Mans endurance race. It affected Henry Ford II more than anyone else - he simply dreamed that his Ford would throw the Italians off the top and climb to the top step of the pedestal himself. He is ready to spend any money on it, to hire the best people. One man, designer Carroll Shelby, told him that to win a race you need something that money can't buy - a brilliant driver. Shelby agreed to help Ford and in an incredibly short period of time create a car capable of winning. All that remains is to persuade wayward but incredibly talented driver Ken Miles to get behind the wheel of the future beast to beat Ferrari.
