An experienced soldier, Captain Anton Sayenko, whom everyone in the unit calls simply by the call sign "Banderas", has not been home in his native village for twenty years. But an anti-terrorist operation began, which forced not only Anton, but also thousands of other Ukrainian men to enter this territory. Near this village, a series of sabotage is soon predicted, which Banderas, together with other scouts, must prevent, so that civilians do not die.
