The giant "Pink Panther" diamond, given by an Indian sheikh to his daughter Dali, will become the bait that the robber must peck at. Setting his sophisticated traps, the policeman has no idea that he will fall into them, because his wife has a lover, the very same "Phantom" whom the inspector unsuccessfully tries to catch.
