Mike and Scott are two Portland Hustlers who set out to find Mike's mom. The journey takes them to Idaho, Mike's hometown, and soon to Italy before heading back to Oregon. Scott is the son of the Portland mayor, who opposes his father's world and exhibits his hooligan behavior. Mike is a homosexual who suffers from narcolepsy and has no means of livelihood. In addition, Mike is in love with his companion Scott. While in Italy, Scott falls in love with a local girl. Mike is having a hard time with this turn of events. After returning home, the relationship between the friends ends and Scott starts a new life without Mike.
