North Country

Josie, a young mother of two, runs away from a man who beats her. To feed her children, she goes to work in a mine. However, there, Josie, like other female miners, faces sexual harassment and abuse from men who believe that women have no place in the mine. Josie sues, and the trial becomes a precedent in American history.
