A team of scientists from an American research base in the Antarctic will have to face an inexplicable, terrible nightmare. Cut off from the rest of the world, polar explorers enter into an unequal battle with an alien creature that has awakened after a thousand-year hibernation in the ice, a merciless creature that has woken up and is hungry.
