Christmas in the south of Italy takes place in a special way. There is no usual snow, Christmas tree and similar things here. But there must be a performance with the worship of the Magi. Only this is bad luck - in one city on a small island in the Mediterranean Sea, no new children have been born for several years. Until this moment, the baby Christ was played by a boy, who is now not as small as before. The mayor of the city wants to try to take the boy for a while in the Tunisian commune on the island, as ridiculous as it sounds - this community is Muslim. The nun Marta and the leader of the Tunisian commune Bilal (an Italian who moved to their community) set out to solve this delicate issue.
