The world-famous opera singer Roxana Koss has a concert in South America, one of the countries where there is still a military dictatorship. Her private performance was ordered by a Japanese industrialist. But the holiday turned into mourning when militants broke into the owner's boarding house and took over the house. They have only one condition: they will release 490 innocent people in exchange for the release of all political prisoners in the country. Their fate depends on themselves. Read more The film is based on the novel of the same name by Anne Patchett.
