They love each other. A couple of Parisian students, Armand, the son of Iranian immigrants, and Leila, an Arab woman from the suburbs, are passionately attracted to each other. They were going to spend a few months in New York as interns at the United Nations, but those plans are ruined by the girl's brother, Mahmoud. The guy recently returned from Yemen, where his life changed a lot. While studying love relationships there from a religious point of view, Mahmud absolutely disapproves of his sister's unchaste fascination with this Arman.
