Caius Marcius Coriolanus is a fearless soldier, but not the smartest politician. His ambitious mother pushes Coriolanus to power, but the commander himself is in a tight position, which requires not only pressure and strength, but also the ability to maneuver and be ready to compromise. While Rome, under his rule, tries to get back on its feet and overcome the huge gap between the Roman elite and the rapidly impoverished citizens, Coriolanus must give himself an answer to the question of who he really is.
