The 80s of the 19th century entered the history of both the United States of America and the history of the whole world. Then the "war of currents" took place in the New World - the legendary confrontation between Thomas Alva Edison and George Westinghouse. These two at one time fought to bring about a whole revolution in America - to bring electricity to the entire country. But what should be the current, constant or variable, they never decided... Edison was already one step away from making a real breakthrough, but Westinghouse and his partner Nikola Tesla, in their opinion, have a slightly better idea. The roles in the film were performed by: Benedict Cumberbatch ("Hawking" (2004), "Life Backwards" (2007), the series "Sherlock"), Michael Shannon ("Road of Change" (2008), "Under the Cover of Night" (2016), the series "Underground Empire"), Nicholas Hoult ("A Single Man" (2009), "Mad Max: Fury Road" (2015), X-Men franchise). The first screening of the tape took place on September 9, 2017 at the International Film Festival in Toronto, Canada.
