Alberto Giacometti is one of the most famous artists of the 20th century. It seems that he has the recognition of his creative talent by his colleagues, and a lot of money, and a beautiful wife, whom he likes to tease with his mistress. But Alberto is tired of life, of the constant routine and the fact that he has everything. Fate brings him together with the critic James Lord, who poses for a new portrait of the artist. James had no idea how difficult it would be. What would take an ordinary artist a couple of days can take months for Giacometti. He talks to the canvas, is ready to burn the canvas at the slightest stain and generally behaves like a real schizophrenic. Lord has already postponed his flight from Paris to the United States several times, but continues to communicate with Giacometti.
