After 20 years, the number of dogs in the Japanese archipelago exceeded all possible norms. A wave of terrible dog flu passed through one of the largest cities of the country, Megasaki. To keep the people safe, Mayor Kobayashi issues a decree that all dogs must be banished to the garbage island. There, the animals are trying to somehow survive among the mountains of waste. 12-year-old Atari was once taken into the care of the mayor of Kobayashi, who never had a clean reputation. Now the boy wants more than anything in the world to find his pet Spots. He went to the garbage island in a small plane, where he met the local mutts. They are ready to do everything possible to help Atari. They are just now speaking in different languages... The boy and the dogs don't know yet, but the fate of the entire Prefecture depends on their actions. Read more The cartoon was created using stop-n-motion animation.
