Mitch Rapp is a secret CIA mercenary. When he was very young, his parents died in a car accident. And just recently, terrorists killed Rapp's girlfriend right in front of his eyes. CIA Deputy Director Irene Kennedy sends a broken-hearted boy to train Cold War veteran Stan Hurley. Irene has them investigate a series of random attacks on civilian and military targets together. But they find a thin thread that connects all these brutal attacks. Thus begins their joint mission with the Turkish agent Annika, the purpose of which is to stop the mysterious Primar.
