In recent years, the Italian cinematography, rich in tradition, has experienced another boom. However, new works find it difficult to make their way into international distribution and almost never reach the Ukrainian audience. The "Week of Italian Cinema" annually presents in Ukraine the brightest film novelties from sunny Italy. Cities hosting the festival: Kyiv, Odesa, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Lviv. In 2017, the "Week of Italian Cinema" will be held for the seventh time. Program: "Sea on Fire", dir. Gianfranco Rosi ("The Holy Roman Ring") "How Dreamed", dir.
