Claire is absolutely happy, because she created a real paradise for herself with her own hands. She has a beautiful son, Simon, who is about to become a doctor, a charming house outside Paris, and a wonderful job as a midwife, which she loves. Claire has devoted her whole life to other people, so she is lonely. Everything changes when Beatrice - her stepmother, who ran away from Claire's father a long time ago - returns to the woman's life. Beatrice came to apologize and ask for help. Claire doesn't quite understand why she does this, because she has everything she needs to live. But both women can bring a lot of new things into their lives from this communication. Claire can understand that joy is all around us and we need to look for it, and Beatrice must learn many serious skills from her daughter.
