The series follows the combat path of Company E ("Easy"), 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Regiment, 101st Airborne Division, from training camp in Taccoa, Georgia, through the Normandy landings, Operation Market Garden and the Battle of Bastogne to the end of the war.
