The picture is based on the New York Times bestseller book, written by the main character's father - writer and journalist Ron Susskind, winner of the Pulitzer Prize. By the age of three, his son Owen was developing perfectly normally. But one day, suddenly and inexplicably, he completely stopped talking: he could not express his thoughts, feelings and desires, build relationships with others. Then he was diagnosed with autism.
