Rose and Kate stayed for the winter holidays at a Catholic boarding school. Parents did not come for both of them, but the girls, it seems, did not really want to see their relatives. A compassionate man picks up a lonely girl Joan at a gas station, he and his wife will drive her to the nearest settlement. Joan is running from someone, and something from the past oppresses the girl.
