The main character is musician Eric Draven. Together with his girlfriend Shelly Webster, he dies at the hands of cruel thieves, but the thirst for revenge for his beloved turns out to be stronger than death. True love never dies, so Eric is reborn from the dead and embarks on a path of revenge.
