Criminal Max Cady is released from prison after serving a long sentence for rape. His heart is full of anger and hatred. Then, fourteen years ago, his lawyer in court was Sam Bowden. He had important information in his hands that could possibly exonerate Max. But Sam hid her, and his client received a harsh sentence. Max has not forgotten anything, all these years he hatched a plan of revenge. And now he intends to find Bowden and teach him, his wife and 15-year-old daughter a good lesson.
