The series tells the story of the Rose family: Johnny Rose is a billionaire who made a fortune on a chain of video stores, his wife is a soap opera actress and two children - hipster David and socialite Alexis. After Johnny's business fails, the entire family is forced to move to the small rural community of Sheetts Creek, which they purchased several years ago for fun.
