This is a story about a young and talented Dominican baseball player, Miguel Santos, nicknamed "Sugar". At the age of 19, he signed a contract with a professional team from Kansas City. Leaving his family and friends, he goes to America to try to fulfill his childhood dream of playing for the New York Yankees. Are his dreams destined to come true?
