Canadian drama that tells the story of a Canadian journalist, Bernard Valcourt, who flies to Rwanda to shoot a film about AIDS and falls in love with a local waitress - Jeantie. The love drama unfolds in 1994 - the time of the terrible events of the Tutsi genocide in Rwanda. The film is based on the best-selling novel "Sunday by the pool in Kigali" by Gilles Courtmanche.
