Young lawyer Ben Cahill has just started his practice. One day he came across secret documents that could help bring to light the influential and ruthless executive director of a large pharmaceutical company, Arthur Denning. The documents showed that the new tested drug cannot be sold, as it can cause serious illness and even death. While investigating this case, Ben finds himself drawn into a world of blackmail and corruption. The lawyer's ex-girlfriend, who handed him the same documents, died suddenly.
