The story will tell about a special love in the life of an extraordinary woman who was stuck in the middle of the last century in post-war France. Wayward Gabrielle and her dreams of true love were weakly combined with the reality dictated by time. A daring and freedom-loving girl has to live in a heartless marriage with a man chosen for her by her parents. Let him love the girl and be a diligent family man, but for Gabriel this union is like torture. Joyless existence is replaced by ardent passion when the heroine meets Andre Savage, a wounded veteran of the Vietnam War, at a medical resort in the Alps.
