The Danish prince Hamlet vows revenge when he learns from the ghost of his murdered father about the guilt of the current king Claudius. Disregarding the romantic intentions of his beloved Ophelia, Hamlet tries to open the eyes of Gertrude's mother to the criminal king, her current husband. After several bloody and mysterious deaths, Hamlet must act.
