After the disintegration of his clan, the unemployed samurai Hanshiro Tsuguma arrived at the estate of Lord Iyu, with a request to make harakiri at his estate. The members of the Iyu clan, believing that the desperate ronin is simply hoping for alms, try to force him to commit harakiri, but they greatly underestimate him.
