The Missing

During the 2006 World Cup, a British family in France loses their young son in the midst of a soccer bacchanalia that took place in the streets for the final. This destroys their marriage, and soon the wife finds a new husband. Eight years later, the father of a missing boy hires a French detective to resume the search, as evidence emerges that the child is still alive.
