The events of the film will take place in three time plans - in 1914, in 1954 and at the end of the 90s. The main characters represent the following generations of the same family: Dulska's granddaughter, Dulska's mother, and Dulska's grandmother. The youngest, who is a director, decides to make a documentary film, learning at the same time the secrets of her own family.
