At the beginning of the 60s in West Germany, the television show "Nur nicht nervöss werden" / "Don't be nervous" was popular. It was believed that the German population was very mentally traumatized, had an extremely high level of psychological anxiety, and needed massive professional help. This film is about the practice of therapy and psychological self-help that was spread through the mass media, as well as the methods of mass consciousness manipulation that were used at the same time.
