The main character Howard works in an advertising agency in New York. Not so long ago, a tragedy occurred in his personal life that shocked and led to severe depression: his daughter died. Colleagues try to help and develop an unconventional plan to get the other one back on their feet, but how the plan works comes as a complete surprise. Howard writes unusual letters.
