In Dubious Battle

1930 year. A defining moment in the history of the United States - workers across the country begin to form unions to protect their rights, trying to fight for better treatment and decent wages from their employers. In the California Valley, a labor conflict arises between migrant apple pickers and members of the local vegetable growers' association. "Party" activist Jim Nolan, understanding the importance of organized labor, begins to participate in the labor movement and organizes a large strike of about 900 apple pickers to attract more people to his cause.
