Two friends, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, are known throughout the county. They run the Hole in the Wall gang. Butch is a mastermind, Sundance is a consummate performer and a first-rate shooter. They rob the same train carrying money twice. A chase is organized for the robbers, led by an experienced Baltimore detective. No one could escape from him. Having barely escaped from the pursuit, the friends hide in the house of Sundance's girlfriend. And then Butch realizes: since luck turned away from them in America, maybe they should try their luck in Bolivia?
