A 7-year-old girl did not get along well with her peers, she was bullied and laughed at at school. And so, one fine day, she found a little piglet, who knows where it came from. She took him in. The man and the pig became friends, to the envy of all the girl's school friends. The piglet constantly got into comical situations, delighted the environment and brought the girl very close and made friends with her peers. More In the original language, the title sounds like "Arlo: The Burping Pig", which means "Arlo: pig that vomits". But in our rental it was changed to "Arlo: the talking pig". For Tom DeNucci, this is already the fourth work in the director's chair. In 2013, 2 of his not very successful films were released: "Storage Chamber" and "Army of the Damned". In 2015, the world saw the mediocre film "Almost Like Mercy". Eric Weinstock became the screenwriter of the film, for whom this is not only his debut in this role, but also his first participation in a full-length film. Previously, he was an actor in the short film "Santa's Little Helper" in 1999. Arlo the pig is voiced by actor Michael Bell. He previously worked on such films as "Oh, already these children!", "Drake and Josh" and other lesser-known ones. On August 18, 2016, the film was released in Russian cinemas.
