Little sparrow Richard was adopted by storks. Despite the difference in appearance, the kid is sure that he is one of them. Cold weather is approaching... Richie's family understands that he is just a sparrow and will not be able to withstand the flight to warm countries. So they tell the boy the truth about his origins. But Richard does not give up, even when everyone abandoned him - he is going to overcome the path to Africa alone against all odds. Sparrow wants to prove to everyone that he is a Stork. On his way, Richie finds new friends - the unusual Owl Olga with her imaginary friend, as well as the narcissistic singing parrot Kiki. Richard must prove in every possible way that he is undervalued for nothing. Read more. The cartoon has variants of the name "Trio in Feathers", "Flight of the Bird", "Richard the Stork". The film was directed by Toby Henkel and Reza Mamari. Tobi previously worked in such projects as "Thor: The Legend of the Vikings" (2011), "Oops... Noah Sailed" (2015), and for Reza this film was the first in his career. The roles in the cartoon were voiced by: Nicolette Krebitz ("Bandits" (1997), "The Tunnel" (2001)), Jimmy Zoppi ("Union of the Beasts" (2010)), Christian Hall ("Last Sunday" (2009)). The premiere of the film took place on February 12, 2017 at the Berlin Film Festival, Germany.
