In the distant future, a cargo spaceship returning to Earth intercepts a faint SOS signal from an unknown planet. The crew decides to land and figure out what's going on. On the planet, astronauts everywhere discover objects that look like giant cocoons or larvae. Unfortunately, they don't even know that in these cocoons hideous and ruthless creatures are waiting for their time, the meaning of their existence is reduced to the extermination of all living things...
