Legendary theater director Peter Brook has created his own version of Shakespeare's classic tragedy. Wanting to divide his kingdom between his three daughters, King Lear decides to divide the lands depending on which daughter best expresses her love for him. When his daughter Cordelia refuses to appease her father's ego with promises of loyalty, Lear gives the lion's share of his power to her sisters, Gonerilla and Regan. But soon they betray their father's trust, and Lear is left without strength and power. He soon loses his mind and his empire crumbles. Images courtesy of Exclusive Media and Park Circus
