The action takes place in the future, when order on the streets of cities is ensured not only by "living" police officers, but also by high-tech androids. John Cannex was trapped with a police squad and was seriously injured. Waking up after 17 months in a coma, he can't remember much, but he does remember that his partner was killed. His girlfriend left him immediately after the attack. John lost his leg and now it is replaced by a complex synthetic construction.
