The Purge: Election Year

US Senator Charlie Roan is fed up with the so-called "Judgment Nights", 12 hours of lawlessness and murders, for which no one is punished, once a year in the country. A woman is running for president and plans to stop the tradition, but the powers that be are against her initiative. As a result of the betrayal, Roan finds himself on the streets of Washington during another Ship of the Night, and only the head of her security service, Leo Barnes, can save the senator.
