A romantic comedy drama from one of the masters of cinematography and winner of four awards of the American Film Academy, Woody Allen, the author of "Midnight in Paris", "Match Point" and others. USA, 1930s. An influential agent of movie stars in Hollywood learns that his young nephew, Robert Dorfman, is coming to visit him. Bobby is tired of being between his constantly fighting parents and his gangster brother, so he decided to go somewhere far away. The uncle hires the boy as a courier and he gradually gets acquainted with the world of celebrities and glitter. Very soon, Dorfman's heart is filled with new and beautiful feelings. More In the spring of 2015, it became known that Woody Allen is going to shoot a new picture, and that Jesse Eisenberg, Kristen Stewart and Bruce Willis have already joined the cast. The film is a remake of Edward H. Griffith's 1939 film of the same name. Cinematographer Vittorio Storaro, a veteran of the film industry, who worked with directors such as Francis Ford Coppola ("Apocalypse Today"), Bernardo Bertolucci ("The Last Emperor"), and others, was appointed as the operator of the "Worldly Life" project. This will be his first collaboration with an American director. Blake Lively, Anna Camp, Corey Stoll, Parker Posey, Paul Schneider, Kelly Rohrbach, Tony Sirico and others also played in Woody Allen's film. In August 2015, Bruce Willis was forced to leave the shooting of the film "Social Life". His place was taken by Steve Carell. Most of the actors of the film have already acted before with Woody Allen in other projects. The exception was Blake Lively and Kristen Stewart. "Worldly Life" opened the 69th Cannes Film Festival. This is Allen's third film opening the festival. Before that, there were the melodrama "Hollywood Finale" and the fantastic comedy "Midnight in Paris". Filming of the film began in August 2015 in Los Angeles and its surroundings. Later, the film crew moved to New York.
